Membership (and Licence) structure and fees

You have three options to Join South Coast Cycling club Option 1 – Join online

  • Just follow this link and click on the links to Renew Membership or Join Now. Your license will be mailed to You. We do like you to contact the club so that we can welcome you to the club before your first race.

Option 2 – Manual Application

  • Download the 2017-membership-application then give it to the club with your fee. Your copy will be finalised by the club and posted back to you. Your copy will allow you to compete until your licence is posted to you from Cycling Australia.

Description of Membership Categories

The information below is for 2017 Licences. For the latest information, go to Cycling Australia website (click on Membership Categories in menu).

 

  • Race – Elite and U23

    This membership allows entry to all open category races conducted by Cycling Australia and our affiliated States and Clubs. Please note additional event entry fees may apply. It is a calendar year membership in line with the UCI.

  • Race – Masters U65

    This membership is for Masters Members Under 65 born between 1986 and 1952. This membership will allow entry to races conducted by Cycling Australia and our affiliated States and Clubs. Please note additional event entry fees may apply. It is a calendar year membership in line with the UCI.

  • Race – Junior (U15/U17/U19)

    This membership, for riders born in 1998 and 2003, allows entry to Junior U15, U17 and U19 racing conducted by Cycling Australia and our affiliated States and Clubs. Please note additional event entry fees may apply. It is a calendar year membership in line with

  • Race – Masters 65+ / Para-Cycling

    This membership is for Masters 65+ born between 1916 and 1951 and Para Cyclists. This membership will allow entry to races conducted by Cycling Australia and our affiliated States and Clubs. Please note additional event entry fees may apply. It is a calendar year membership in line with the UCI.

  • Race – Kids (U9/U11/U13)

    This membership, for riders born in 2004 and 2008, allows entry to Junior Under 13 and below racing conducted by Cycling Australia and our affiliated States and Clubs. Please note additional event entry fees may apply. It is a calendar year membership in line with the UCI.

  • Ride – Adult (19 – 64)

    Ride membership is for riders born between 1952 and 1997. Adult membership that allows participation in social rides, Gran Fondos, Cyclo Sportif events, designated timed events sanctioned by Cycling Australia and our affiliated States and Clubs, as well as club and individual training, and commuting. Please note additional event entry fees may apply.

  • Ride – Senior (65+)

    Ride membership is for riders born between 1916 and 1951. Senior membership that allows participation in social rides, Gran Fondos, Cyclo Sportif events, designated timed events sanctioned by Cycling Australia and our affiliated States and Clubs, as well as club and individual training, and commuting. Please note additional event entry fees may apply.

  • Ride – Junior (13-18)

    Ride membership is for riders born between 1998 and 2003. Junior membership that allows participation in social rides, Gran Fondos, Cyclo Sportif events, designated timed events sanctioned by Cycling Australia and our affiliated States and Clubs, as well as club and individual training, and commuting. Please note additional event entry fees may apply.

  • Ride – Kids (12 and Under)

    A membership for children born between 2004 and 2013. Encourages skills development through modified cycling activities.

  • Ride – 3 Month Membership

    This membership is for a 3 month trial and may be purchased only once. It is a RIDE MEMBERSHIP ONLY to try the sport of cycling at any club under the conditions of a Ride Membership. Following the 3 month period members can upgrade to a full membership.

  • Non Riding Member

    Membership is suitabe for accredited officials, volunteers and club executives who are not active on the bike. Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance is provided, however if you wish to receive personal accident insurance while training or riding, you should purchase a Recreational or Race membership.

  • Coach

    Membership is suitable for accredited coaches who are not active on the bike. Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance is provided when you are coaching CA members, however if you wish to receive personal accident insurance while riding your bike or training, you should purchase a Recreational or Race membership.
