The directors will be responsible for managing a multi-purpose sports complex – the Edwardstown Soldiers’ Memorial Recreation Ground. The site is set to undergo an $8 million redevelopment, creating a modern facility for sports and community clubs.
The Edwardstown Oval Soldiers Memorial Recreational Ground redevelopment (the project) will become a vibrant integrated sports and community facility that will provide economic and social benefit to a well-connected and inclusive community.
The City of Marion has been granted $4 million from the Federal Government through Round 3 of the National Stronger Regions Fund (NSRF) to match its own capital contribution of $4million.
