With the Inter-club track event coming up next Monday it’s time to rally the troops.
With Port Adelaide having dominated the last 2 years it’s time we got our act together & knock them back down a few rungs where they belong.
The more members we can get out there the better as more points to the club tally gives us a chance to win the trophy.
Not only is it motivation to get out there & compete as a club, which we rarely get to do… Adelaide Cup day Events are fun.
There is something to suit everyone.
We have Team Sprint & Team Pursuit Teams to put together in addition to the individual events.
So lets all get out there & shake it all up no matter what level of ability – we need you !!!!

Congratulation to South Coast Cycling club menber Alex Radzikiewicz. Alex has made the Junior Cyclones team to contest the 2013 UCI Junior Track World Championships being staged in Glasgow, Scotland from 7 to 11 August. The junior worlds will be staged on the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome.

SAPOL reckon bike theft is up 30% (See Adelaide Now article)
According to the article, “BICYCLES are proving to be hot property this summer with police reporting a spike in thefts across the western suburbs.
About 115 bicycles were stolen between November 1 and January 31, with a replacement value of about $100,000.”
SAPOL along with BikeSA also developed a new “bike passport” to record your bike’s details. (CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS)
Passport reminds you of security tips (we all need reminding from time to time).
