Traffic Management is one need where we absolutely must have volunteers with appropriate qualifications to help run these events safely.

We have added an extra event on the Sunday for U13’s only. (not a part of U13 tour it is a separate stand-alone event). It’s a Hill Climb TT in the afternoon on the same course up Pennys Hill Rd that the U15/U17/U19’s will all do.

South Coast Cycling Track Super Series
Over $2000 Cash/prizes for Track Super Series Seven rounds of racing
· Edwardstown velodrome 18 Oct, 15 Nov, 20 Dec
· Mt Gambier Blue Lake velodrome 4 Jan
· Edwardstown velodrome 27 Jan Australia Day Carnival
· Edwardstown velodrome 21 Feb, 21 March Point allocated for attendance and places in selected events per night.
Individual event 1st – 10pts, 2nd – 8pts, 3rd – 6pts, 4th – 4pts, and every other competitor receives 2pt.
Team events each rider to be awarded 1st – 7 pts, 2nd – 5pts, 3rd – 3pts, 4th -1 pts Derny riders will receive pts for the race they miss equal to the first event they raced in for the night.
Attendance and participation at each round – 10pts Points will be tallied up over the Track Super Series and Junior and Senior cyclists with the most
will be awarded Track Super Series Champions and Runner up Awards given to place getters from second to tenth.
*additional rounds will be added if a round is cancelled to due to inclement weather

With Spring & Summer & Track Season so close…time to get excited !!!
For those of you new to this series the aim is to expose the junior athletes to larger bunch racing while maximising racing opportunities.
Usually each day will consist of 4 races for each age group with 20/24 riders for the boys and upwards of 15 for the girls.
In addition the series provides and opportunity to meet kids from interstate and make new friendships.
November 9th and 10th – Adelaide
December 19th and 20th – Melbourne
February 22nd and 23rd – Sydney
Coaching and support crew for each round is yet to be confirmed, however if you are interested in helping out please let us know.
Further information will be sent in the coming months.
